The director has participated in numerous intercultural EC funded projects concerning the future of the urban landscape. Its sustainable city work involves participatory processes that emphasize the importance of public space and the liveliness of the activities that are generated in such spaces as a function of the pursuit of urban sustainability. CSC will contribute to the process of mapping spaces in the project.
Richard S. Levine
is an award winning architect, urban designer and researcher pursuing sustainability oriented architecture and sustainability driven urban design, and is a recipient of the American Solar Energy Society's "Passive Solar Pioneer Award," a designer of net zero energy (passivhaus) buildings and whose most recent book is titled, "The City as Fulcrum of Global Sustainability."
