Critical Dialogue and Public Sphere

A cultural-creative NGO founded in 2003, is engaged in the development of Armenia as a space for cultural dialogue. A main aim is to develop critical thought in Armenia, eliminating the isolation of the local scene and of local processes related to the culture and civil/public thinking. is widely engaged in the discourse on public space and on the use of internet as a public sphere.

Nora Galfayan

Cultural manager and civic activist

She has an M.A. in Graphic Design from Yerevan, Armenia.
She is the vice president of cultural-creative non-governmental organization.
Her main interests and professional activity are focused around social justice, cultural and public policy-making. Environmental issues, labor, archiving, public sphere, architecture and contemporary art issues.



Taguhi Torosyan

Interdisciplinary cultural operator

She has an M.A. in Iranian Ethnic-Linguistic Communities from Yerevan, Armenia. She’s member of SPACES Yerevan curatorial and coordination team and production manager at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Yerevan.
Her research and activities center around contemporary art practices that deal with the issues of public sphere, social memory, urban and media studies as well as audiovisual industry.
